This week I have assignment about typography: Choose 5 words and interpret the meaning of the word using a typeface that represents the characteristics of the words you have chosen.

So basically, tell me what you think. Does the font represent the word? Do you think there is a font that would do the job better?

87. Ever won a contest?
My youth group had a super hero costume contest once, and I dressed up as Light Girl (or something like that). Basically I had a bunch of different lights on me. And I won. My prize was the giant Staples calculator, which I had only been wishing I owned forever. So yeah, it was pretty awesome.

Re QOTD #79, I was wrong. The most recent person I've seen in "concert" was The Rocket Summer. I saw them at OFLO 2013 in Waterloo, funnily enough.

86. DJ or band, at a wedding?
It doesn't specify whether it's my wedding or not. I'm going to say DJ, just because I think I would find that easier to dance to.

I think series three has been biased in answering these questions because I watched it the most recently. But it would probably be the after credits scene of His Last Vow (basically the cliffhanger they left us with).

Yes, overall. But my patience is definitely shorter when the thing is blatantly obvious, and people still don't understand.

(500) Days of Summer

I watched (500) Days of Summer for the first time last night. It was pretty good. To be honest, It was not at all what I was expecting, just in terms of how the movie was done. It was very hipster. But there were some great quotes that I would just like to share with you now.

Summer: I just…I just woke up one day and I knew. 

Tom: Knew what?

Summer: …what I was never sure of with you.

Tom: She took a giant shit on my face. Literally.

Allison: Literally?

Tom: Well, no, not literally. That’s disgusting. What’s the matter with you?

Yes, I like to think so. I didn't suffer through 10 years of swimming lessons to not be a good swimmer. Although I've always struggled with the whip-kick...

When Sherlock is talking to Mary in the fake house and then it's revealed that John was listening to the entire conversation.  And how John kind of breaks down after that. Agh and when he says "How is it always my fault?" Breaks my heart.
