Whoa...been over a week since I posted? What is the world coming to??? Anyways, Sherlock was amazing and has the WORST CLIFF-HANGER EVER!!! Sherlock died as expected...but then came back...also as expected. The way he came back though is you see John Watson crying over Sherlock's grave, wanting Sherlock to magically come back (ironic, no?). Then as John walks away the camera pans over to Sherlock watching John from the trees. And then it ends!!! So you know he's still alive, but not how!!!! Torture! My friends and I have our theories: a biker knocked (more like purposely pushed) John over as he ran to Sherlock after he jumped off the roof (how he 'dies'), so John doesn't see Sherlock right after he jumps. Also, before he kills himself, Sherlock talks to Molly (a person who works at the hospital and is good friends with Sherlock) and he says 'I need you' as in her help. Then you never see Molly again. And last but not least, Mycroft, Sherlock's brother, told Moriarty, Sherlock's greatest enemy, all about Sherlock and his history. But then Mycroft talks to John about apologizing to Sherlock and that might have something to do with it. (Also, Mycroft is art of the British Government so he has a lot of power). On another note, going to the grand tonight, can't remember what play it is, either The Great Gatsby of Tempting Providence. I'm more interested in seeing TGG now than I was originally now that I've read the book. Better go study for T and T, I have a test tomorrow. It's a short week this week, only one more day!
This picture is refering to the Weeping Angels in DW. "The Weeping Angels had a unique and nearly-perfect defence mechanism:
quantum-locking, which caused them to turn into stone when being
observed. It could also be done by instinct, when they believed they were being watched. When not being observed, they could move incredibly fast, though they
appear to slow down the closer they get to their prey. However,
quatum-locking meant that they had to cover their eyes when in their
stony form; if they saw each other they would be trapped forever. Though they have normally been seen to resemble winged human women, they can appear in many
statue forms, meaning any statue could be a Weeping Angel." (I didn't write that...) So yeah, that's what the pic is about... A DW Weeping Angels lesson for you there! :)
Let me know how you like the play. We are going next week. Good luck on your test tomorrow.
