Inspiration...?

I just finished reading a couple of blog posts by someone I worked with this summer, and I was inspired to write because of it. Problem is, I don't really have anything I want to talk about. I have officially been accepted to the University of Leeds for a term abroad. I'll be there from late January to mid May. It is equal parts thrilling and terrifying. I'm excited about the chance to do some traveling while I'm there though (I have nearly a month long Easter break).

Not much else is new, other than I spent a good chunk of my day standing on tables with my professor. And then creeping said professor on Facebook (I'm still not sure whether I'm glad I did that or not). Less than a month to go, then I'm done the term! It's creeping up quickly and I don't know if I want time to move faster or slower.

368. You can erase any horrible experience from your past. What will it be?
I'm a firm believer in the fact that your experiences shape who you are as a person, thus I wouldn't want to get rid of a horrible experience.

I'm sorry I give such BS psychological answers to some of these questions. Truth is, most of the time I'm too lazy to think of an answer. And sometimes you just need to give a BS answer. Better here than on an exam.

Running from the dark but I just can't hide

title taken from 'Losing Sleep' by John Newman

Do you ever not want to go to bed, even though you're exhausted?

2 down, one more exam to go. It's stats, which I though I would be worried about, but I'm feeling pretty good about it. And then I can finally go home. For a week, then I'll be off to camp! I'm really excited about going back to camp, but I'm also freaking out inside because I have no idea how to my job. I know logically, of all the potential people to work in the kitchen, I have more knowledge than most because I worked there last summer. But that does not mean I have any idea what I'm doing. I'm going up to camp for a day to talk to the representative from our food supplier, so hopefully that will clue me in on how things go a little bit.

337. What's the worst place you've ever been to?
Wow, I don't know. I can't think of a place that's actually bad. There was one time I was disappointed about a place. There's an old house in Uptown Waterloo that's been converted into a book store. It's called Old Goat Books, and looked really cute and old in a kind of hipster kind of way. So I decided to go in, but it was just books on book shelves. There wasn't any of the charm that I was thinking would be inside. Not the worst place I've been to, but one of the disappointing ones.

338. Most attractive singer/s of your opposite gender?
I think Dan Smith of Bastille is pretty cute.

They're studying business, I study the floor

title taken from "A World Alone" by Lorde

Today I presented my mobile narrative about Knox Presbyterian Church in Stratford. It didn't go too well, because there was no one at the church and the doors were all locked, despite the fact that I told the church that we were going to be there and they had confirmed it with me. I heard back later from them and the lady said there was an emergency and she had to watch her grandson. So I understand; things happen, no biggie. But then she also said "I totally forgot". Which makes me a little less understanding. I'm a little disappointed that people couldn't experience the mobile narrative as it was supposed to be. But we still got compliments on it. I was really proud to have been chosen to be in the Student Showcase and have the opportunity to show it to a bunch of people. Hopefully it gets a good mark (it's worth 50% of my grade!).
And as of now, I'm basically coasting. I have three lectures left; one is a review session and one is just watching other groups present their projects. So not strenuous in any way. Three more days, then I'm headed home. Brief moment of true relaxation and then exams -_-  I got my stats midterm back: 95.2% baby! Highest mark in the class, and it's worth 30% of my final grade :)
I was complimented the other day on my writing. One of my group projects was to write up a case study report, so we were working in a google doc together. They said, "You have great vocabulary. It's like reading a real journal article!" It made me really happy :) I know my love language is acts of service, but more and more I feel like it's words of affirmation. I never thought I was a particularly great writer, but my university experience has taught me otherwise. Some of the things I read written by my classmates is appalling. I seriously wonder how they passed English in high school. I'm not saying I'm the best writer, but I'm definitely better than the apparent average of my program. I love it when you write a sentence, and you just want to bold it and underline it and read it out to everybody, because it's perfect - couldn't have been said better. That's my favourite :D

329. How do you vent your anger?
Through rants to people who are not involved in the cause of the anger and/or can relate to my anger.

330. Do you have a collection of anything?
Oh, do I ever.
- stamps
- coins
- mini books
- objects that are not their normal size (particularly in the stationary / office department)
- Lego Minifigures
I used to have a lot of other collections as well:
- small little rubber lizards that were in the goodie jar at the dentist
- mini keychain board games
- Kinder Egg surprise toys
- mini erasers
But in fits of rage about having too much junk, those ones have been disposed of. I used to pride myself on my collection of collections.

Passing That Time

I went to the mall today and came back with nothing. I feel like a failure. Who goes to the mall and buys nothing. Especially in December! *sigh* Some people are so hard to shop for.
My english exam went well. But what I'm really happy about is my final paper for that class, which we got back after we handed in our exam. And I got an 89 :D I'm so happy. And this is what my prof had to say: "This was a real pleasure to read, Heather - great ideas, very well researched, and carefully argued. Except now I'm a bit depressed about social media..." (my paper was about how mobile phones are ruining our real life interactions). Coming from her [the prof], that means a lot. I've done really well in this class, I think my lowest mark was an 83. And it's not like the course was easy or that the prof was an easy marker, because she said most of the marks are in the low 70s. So I'm pretty happy with myself. That professor was also the best professor I've ever had. She also gave me a 93 on the revised response paper (which I'm pretty sure I talked about before). I literally went up 4% because I added 5 words and fixed a typo. Man, that class was great.

283. How is the weather right now?
Well, from looking out my window, I can tell you that Waterloo is currently...dark. Not windy, high probability of it being cold. Nothing falling from the sky.

284. The first thing you notice about the opposite sex?
Their appearance. And I would just like to say something, because I think this question is fishing for what I call, a beauty pageant answer. "Oh, the first thing I notice about boys is their stunning personality!" No. No, I'm sorry, it's really not. The first thing you notice about someone is their appearance. You have no other option! Unless you meet them online or some other way that would not involve seeing them. But if you're walking down the street, the first thing you're going to notice is not their ability to crack jokes.

285. Do you have a significant other?
No.

(But Benedict does and this is what he said about her:
He's so adorable. They are so frickin cute together. )

Christmas Time is Here

Only 2 more weeks and then I'm outta this dump (a figurative and literal dump; the cleaning by my roommates has gone down hill over the past month). Oh how I just want to be done. I'll be happy once Monday is over, because by then I will officially be done classes and all but one of my assignments will be handed in. We did some review in my English class, and this exam is going to be harder than I think I initially thought it would have been. But, nothing I can't handle! Studying is just going to be more work than I want it to be (but really, I wish studying was no work). Luckily, I don't have to study so much for my other two exams. I really just want to decorate the Christmas tree and make a really intense gingerbread house (I'm going big this year). I've been listening to Songza's Christmas playlist and it makes me really happy. Also, they included Do You Want To Build A Snowman? as a Christmas hit, and it basically made my day (it's early).

281. What's the last thing you ate?
Vegetable Thins Original crackers that I found in the cupboard. I'm pretty sure they're mine, but there is a tad of doubt in the back of my mind.

Cute Little Ducks

There are these two little ducks that hangout in the creek/river/body of water near Renison. There are not a lot of ducks around (unlike the geese) and so I'm pretty sure it's the same pair I see every time. It'a a male and female, and whenever I see one, I see the other. They're always together. This morning when I walked by the creek/river/body of water, they were sleeping and just drifting around, side by side, in the water. They're so cute! Later on they waddled by my window and then chilled outside my friend's window.  eeeee little duckies!

Wish me luck on my econ exam!

139. What was the colour of the last hoodie you wore?
Navy blue (from Iconic Outfitters).

140. Ever wish you were someone else?
I've daydreamed about being someone else for a day, or something along those lines, but I would never truly wish to be someone else.

141. One thing you wish you could change about yourself?
Although I've definitely gained more over the last 8 months, I wish I had more confidence in myself.

Jumping High in the Sky

I went trampolining! Trampoline-ing? Jumping. I went jumping. But it was so much fun! My friend Mara invited me to go with her, she's done it a couple times before. It was really fun. They have 6 olympic-standard trampolines and we had the entire facility to ourselves. I even worked up the courage to try a front flip and (after multiple attempts) completely nailed it. It was so awesome. I've always been so scared of doing flips and such but once you've done it, it's not even that bad. And it was only $9 for an hour of jumping, which is awesome. We "studied" while jumping. And by studying I really mean asked each other a couple questions and then gave up and just jumped. But really, it was studying, exercise and a stress relief all in one. So I'm not even feeling guilty about going out the day before my exam when clearly I have studying to do. We got slushies afterwards. Really, it was all quite ideal.
And this is just something worth watching. The look on the kid's face! Oh my gosh. It had me laughing.

Monday, 7 April 2014

This is an April Fool's joke I whole-heartedly support.

135. What are you paranoid about?
I don't really think I'm paranoid about anything (my dictionary defines it as "unreasonably or obsessively anxious, suspicious, or mistrustful").  I mean, I guess I could be considered paranoid about my exams. I know I was paranoid when I was waiting to get my econ midterm mark back.

136. Have you ever been high?
On laughter, yes.

Paparazzi

There's a girl walking around on the "field" outside my window and it's really throwing me off. I keep hearing her footsteps as she tramps around in all the dead leaves. Sometimes she comes really close to my window. I don't think she realizes that I'm there, and she definitely does not know that my window is open and I can hear everything she's saying:
- she's done with exams on the 14th (just like me)
- her friend goes back to work in a couple weeks (I go to camp in a month)
- her exam is based of stuff they went over in class (...duh)
Completely oblivious. I just stared at her for a solid minute. Nothing. She also cannot stand still to save her life. I should point out that while it is close to a door to Renison, this "field" is not exactly close to any paths or anything. It makes me wonder why she choose there. Ha. Probably because she didn't think she would be heard by anybody there. Well you thought wrong, darling. It's so funny to be sitting here writing about her while she's just a few feet away from me, yet she is completely unaware. But I guess that's the media and paparazzi for you.
At least she's scared the geese away. For now.

Tuesday, 1 April 2014

I can't believe I did this.

And so close to the end too. I mean really, the last week of my first year of university. And look at what I've done.

I skipped class.

My italian class. To be fair, we were just watching more presentations and doing some exam review. But since the exam isn't cumulative and she already handed out the review, so I didn't see the need to go. And I mean it's not like I decided to skip ahead of time. I was working on my digital art assignment cause I had some time before class started, and I just really got into my art I guess. I had only missed about 15 minutes of class by the time I noticed I was late. But then I figured, why go? So I didn't. I feel kind of guilty. But I also had this huge adrenaline rush and felt like a total rebel. :)

130. What do you want to do after high school?
(One would hope that the upcoming answer is "what I'm doing right now").
Yeah, probably what I'm doing right now. Not as in skipping class, but going to university, being in GBDA. It's a good life.

131. If you're being extremely quiet, what does it mean?
Usually I'm embarrassed/nervous.

Maybe the Internet raised us, or maybe people are jerks

Wind Out

Friday night was Renison's Wind Out. Everybody gets dressed up to go to the Delta hotel in Kitchener and have a very nice dinner. They gave out some of the awards and then there was a dance. It was pretty fun, but I've never been much of a dance person. When we got back at about 11:30, my friends and I ordered pizza and had another dance party in one of the lounges. Then we all slept in one room, like a sleepover. It was a lot of fun. Until 9:30AM, that is, when the fire alarm went off. According to the dons,  the fire alarm was supposed to go off at 1pm. The thing I want to know is who decided that a fire alarm the day after Wind Out (where there was a bar) would be a good idea? And then who thought it would be a good idea to do it in the morning?! Because I had slept in my friends room, I didn't have my jacket or proper shoes. I was standing outside in shorts, a t-shirt and flip-flops in below zero temperatures for over half a hour. Then one of the sweetest things that has ever happened to me happened: Josh came over and gave me his jacket. Like seriously, these types of things don't happen to me. But then he was shy and so just kind of walked away after he gave it to me. I was able to thank him later when I gave it back. But that's like the sweetest thing that's ever happened to me.  Then I spent all of yesterday in my friends room, a majority of that time occupying a portion of her bed. I did manage to get some work done on my peanut butter report*, but it was an overall very lazy day. I watched a couple episodes of Hannibal. I'm enjoying it, but it's some pretty dense stuff. I would find myself halfway through the episode all tense and holding my breath. But fun times and lazy days will soon be over because there are only 2 (TWO!!) weeks of classes left and then the dreaded exams. Ugh. I am so ready for everything to be over (and for camp to start!!!)

123. Spell your name with your chin.
Since I am in a public place, I will retain my dignity and do this later.

124. Do you play sports? What sports?
I don't play any sports. Unless belaying can be consider a sport...

Feminism

OK LAST ONE I PROMISE.
I think this is the one I'm going to go with, word-wise. So just if you have any comments about composition, etc. I wasn't sure whether to do "fe" or "male" in red (or a different colour? Oh! Maybe I should match the not equal sign colour, whatever I end up choosing, to be the same in this one. yes excellent. Annnd I'm pretty sure that made no sense whatsoever. You know what? It's my blog, I do what I like).

speaking of my blog and I do what I want....

hehehe i have so many of them :3

I feel like I should just let you all know that I have my Italian midterm tomorrow and I spent this evening watching Sherlock bonus features on my BRAND NEW SHERLOCK SEASON THREE DVD.

Exam (& QOTD #44)

My exam yesterday was 70 multiple choice questions. The answers consisted of:
a) no doubt in my mind that this is the correct answer
b) there are two answers that could possibly be correct, I'm going to go with my gut instinct on this one
c) I can remember talking about this, but I can't remember what about it. I'm going to choose the most logical answer
d) We definitely did not talk about this. This really is just flat out guessing.

But other than that, I think it went pretty well. I got 90% on that 250 word essay I had to write. Too bad it's only worth 5%. I was finished the exam within an hour. We had been told that beforehand that we would have 2.5 hours, but he said we shouldn't need more than an hour and 45 mins. Had I known that before hand, I would've been able to make it home on the bus last night. Oh well. I watched some movies and took advantage of the unlimited internet. I'm just glad to finally be able to say that I'm done.

44. Do you tan in the nude?
No. And even if it was one of those nude beaches, I still wouldn't.

Home Again, Home Again (QOTD #27)

I came home last night. It is good to be back. I have an exam on the 19th (which sucks) but other than that, I'm done! I can't believe the first term is over! Only 7 more to go :$  I put up our Christmas tree today (all by myself, might I add). I'm going to decorate it tomorrow. My hands are all scratched up from spreading apart all of the branches of the tree. I feel like my family has so many Christmas decorations that never get used. I guess it's because it's all kind of a mis-mash of different things we've collected over the years. We really should just get rid of some stuff. But it's good to be back regardless.

27. Would you be able to date someone who doesn't make you laugh?
I guess if I didn't know that fact about them, I would date them. But then once I found out that I didn't find them funny, it would be hard to keep dating them. I definitely wouldn't marry someone who couldn't make me laugh.

QOTD #24

24. What do you want right this second?
Um, not to have to study? Have my exams behind me? It to be Christmas Eve? I want multiple things, hardly any of which are worthy of me actually having.

My perfect day would be...
Ideally, spent with my husband (or husband to be), neither of us have to go to work, reading, swinging in a hammock after a nice walk through a forest. I dunno, who actually thinks about these things?!

QOTD #21

21. Are you in a good mood?
Well, while I should have been studying, I was watching vlogbrothers videos about The Fault in our Stars movie which I am SO EXCITED FOR. It comes out on June 6th, 2014. I also learned that Ansel Elgort, who plays Augustus Waters in TFioS, is also in the movie for Divergent, which I am ALSO VERY EXCITED FOR (he plays Tris's brother). So that was some fun fangirling. But it is also RIDICULOUSLY COLD ON MY FLOOR AND ESPECIALLY IN MY ROOM. The entire wing that my floor is on is cold, the heating isn't working. Probably how the mould got started. Or I guess mould would thrive in warmer temperatures...? Anyways, I've been wearing sweaters and multiple pairs of sock for the past week. There was even a time I put gloves on I was so cold. Being at the end of the hall (and not the end attached to the building), my room and the room across from me are the coldest. Somebody had a thermometer and the end rooms are AN ENTIRE 10 DEGREES COLDER than the rest of the building. They put two dinky heaters in the hall, which is kind of warming up the hall, BUT THAT DOESN'T HELP MY ROOM. The room across from me had been given a heater when it first started to get cold and they say that it only raised the temperature 2 degrees. The girls in that room don't even sleep in their room anymore. They go sleep on other floors WHERE THE TEMPERATURE IS NOT COMPARABLE TO THAT OF OUTSIDE. So if you're still looking for a Christmas gift idea, a heater would be greatly appreciated. At least I'm only here for 5 more days and then I'm home! So to answer the question, yes. I am in a good mood. TFioS tipped the scale. Had I decided to to what I was supposed to be doing (studying for Italian), I would not be in a good mood.

What scares me is...
The unknown. And I know a lot of people probably say that. But I don't mean the unknown as in "what's outside our galaxy?" kind of unknown (although that's probably pretty scary as well). I mean if somebody has a surprise or something. The little unknowns. For example, when the bus to TO left before I was on it and there was nobody around to tell me what was going on, that was scary. Situations where I am doing something and there is nobody to reassure me that what I'm doing it correct, that scares me.

My AMAZING Weekend

While my weekend was amazing, it didn't start off that way. The bus was half an hour late, time which I was standing in line outside in the freezing temperatures. Eventually the bus did show up. But then it left before everyone in line was on. The bus wasn't even full. Then I started panicking a bit because I didn't know why it had left. But then another bus showed up, so it was all good. And what a coincidence, I got the same bus driver as I had when I was coming back from a weekend at home. The bus ride was fine, there was hardly anybody on the bus. My BFFLAAT met me at the bus station in Toronto. It was great to finally see her again. It was already kind of late so we just hung out in her room. I also met a lot of her friends and floormates. One of boys (whom I had actual met over skype before) complemented me and said that I was beautiful. I said thank you but I just thought he was saying that to be nice. But then my BFFLAAT said that when he gives a compliment, he really means it. So that was nice :) Too bad he's gay. (When I say too bad, I'm not saying I have a problem with him being gay, I'm just saying that it wouldn't be able to go anywhere, if you know what I mean).  I met this other guy as well who gave me a donut, which is always nice, but then I found that he watches Sherlock and we have similar movie and book tastes. We would get along well. On Saturday morning we went out for brunch at one of the caf's on campus with a couple other people. Then my BFFLAAT and I fangirled over Hunger Games characters (actors). We read a special edition magazine about The Hunger Games Catching Fire movie and started watching the first Hunger Games. And then Dylan Sprouse happened. Then we headed out for an early dinner at The Old Spaghetti Factory. When we arrived they told us it would be a 5 to 10 minute wait and so we got one of those buzzer things but after two minutes it buzzed and we were led through the restaurant to our table. My BFFLAAT and I laughed because even though we were told that there would be a 5 to 10 minute wait the restaurant was completely empty. Why would we be told there is a 5 to 10 minute wait if the restaurant was completely empty? It was funny.  For those who don't know, The Old Spaghetti Factory was a blacksmith shop a century ago. Inside they have a bunch of cool things hanging from the walls and all the dividers are stainglass windows. They even have a carousel and a caboose train that you can sit in. The dinner was really delicious. There was this ice cream flavour called Spumoni. It is chocolate, vanilla and pistachio all mixed together. It was so good.  After we were done we walked back to my BFFLAAT’s residence to pick up her friend and head over to the movie. We were seeing the movie in the Scotia Bank theater which is this really huge theater with a lot of specialized theatres. It was assigned seating so we didn't have to worry about getting there really early which was nice. They have this pre-movie show that was interactive with their mobile app which is really cool but we didn't have their app so we couldn’t play, but it was cool to see the other people do it. The movie was amazing. I can't find anything in it to complain about. Obviously they couldn't fit everything in the book in but they were pretty close and it was so amazing. I cried at one point. I loved it so much. I would even go so far as to say it was better than the first movie. Morning we had a lazy morning and went to Starbucks for lunch.  Then my BFFLAAT and I watch some Catching Fire interviews with the actors. Then, since my BFFLAAT knew that I missed it, we watch the Doctor Who 50th anniversary special episode.  I don't even know what to say about it.  It was really well done and I really liked the storyline.  However that amazing story line changes absolutely everything.  It basically goes back in time and changes one of the main time points in the Doctor’s timeline.  I won't going to great detail because I know most of you don't watch Dr. Who and won't understand it but just know that it was amazing but also that it changes everything and I don't even know how to handle it right now. (I'm using this dictation feature on my Mac right now to type this blog post out because I'm too lazy to type it all out so that's why there's a lot of run-on sentences. Sorry). After that we headed out to the bus station. I almost missed my bus because I couldn’t see the bus and I wasn't sure when it started boarding. It all worked out in the end of course. But at every stop I panicked because I was freaked out it wouldn't go to my stop which was unrealistic but, you know, stuff happens. When I got to the bus terminal I was really tired and didn't want to have to wait for the city bus to come around so I just ended up taking a taxi home.  (Another note on this whole dictation thing. I never realized how much I say “just”. I've been editing the sentences after I speak them just to make sure that the sentence makes sense and I say “just” so much it's ridiculous). When I got back to residence I talked to my Doctor Who friend about the episode because it changes everything and we also chatted about the Catching Fire movie, which she has yet to see. Then we talked about exam schedules and I realized that I'm going home in eight days, which also means that my Italian exam is in eight days, which I completely not ready for. I've started writing review notes but I havn’t actually started studying for it yet so I’ll have to do that. I also have two astronomy assignments that I need to finish, not to mention studying for astronomy which I'm not looking forward to. Having heard about all the snow in London and thinking about how I'm going to be going home soon I just really want to go home right now. I'm really excited to be at home over December for a good chunk of time. So yeah. That was my amazing weekend with my BFFLAAT. I had so much fun (and once again I apologize for this whole dictation thing, the run-on sentences are really horrible. But using the dictation really sped up the speed of writing out this blog post, so there).

UGH

I just found out that my Astronomy exam is on Dec 19th. THE 19TH. That is the second last possible day of exams.  My only other exam is on the 2nd. Why can't my astro exam be like on the 3rd or something! Cause then I would have 33 days off (yes, I counted). I'll probably still go home in between, but now I'm going to spend those two weeks worrying and studying. I'm sure it will be one of those situations where I would rather just get it over with rather than postpone it.  I'M SO MAD. Day ruined, to say the least.

Late Night Driving

I went home for Thanksgiving weekend. It was great to be able to see my family again. I got a four day weekend, because I don't have classes on Tuesdays. It was one of those times when it seems like the world should still be on pause because you are, but it's actually not. Other people had to go to work and school. Not me! :)  I had the chance to see 3 of my friends this weekend, which was awesome. It's hard to believe it had been over a month since I last saw them! It was great to just hang out with them. My dad very kindly drove me home tonight, so I didn't have to take the bus. At one point when we were on the highway, there was this old blue Ford pickup truck. (Might I mention that it is dark out). It didn't have it's lights on. None. Zilch. Nada. At one point they had their 4 way flashers on but then they turned them off again. It was then that the importance of lights really sunk in for me. We had passed it, and looking in the mirror, you could not see it at all. It's as if it wasn't even there. A little after that, they were trying to pass somebody, so they put their 4 way flashers on again. Then they made the bone-head move of going into the merging lane. Yeah, I don't have any lights, but I'm gonna go into the lane where there are incoming cars. Great idea. Not. Then just as we were turning off the highway, they had their normal lights on! And its like, Where were those for the past 15mins?! People these days. But other than that, it was a great weekend. Thing is, I'll be back home on Friday. FCC is having a Fall Banquet on saturday and it's just easier if I go home for the weekend to get to the banquet. So I'll be away from home for a whole 2 days! I don't think I'll make it. I really don't.
Also MIDTERMS. Those bastards snuck up on me, big time. I need to start studying! But you know that I'll still blog because I procrastinate. Well, not really procrastinate, but more just not studying as hard as I should be. Is that procrastinating? Either way, I'll likely still blog. Mostly about my panic, though.

Recursion

A while ago, (well, a loooong time ago), I was bored and so I looked up funny things you can do with Google. You know, like when you search Google Gravity and hit "I'm Feeling Lucky". Or if you search "do a barrel roll". One of my personal favourites is "askew". When I was searching through the various tricks, I came across that if you typed "recursion" into Google, it will say, "Did you mean: recursion ?" But it would be spelt the same way. At first (and up until now) I thought Google had just made a mistake.  But now that I'm studying for computer science, in which I learned about recursion methods, I finally understand what Google was doing.

re·cur·sion

/riˈkərZHən/

Noun
  1. The repeated application of a recursive procedure or definition.
  2. A recursive definition.
If that doesn't make sense, basically (at least in computer science), something that is recursive is something that calls itself. I would try and explain that using methods and other computer science stuff, but none of you are going to understand it, so I won't bother. Anyways, when Google says "Did you mean: recursion ?", the word is a link to the word being Google searched. So when you type in recursion and click on the link from "Did you mean: recursion ?", you get the same result: it called itself, therefore causing the Google search of recursion to be recursive itself.
Needless to say, I love Google.
